Cougar Pass Recovery Ranch, or CPR, is a branch of Miller Equestrian Services, which has provided horseback riding lessons and horse training for Morgans and American Saddlebreds to all ages for more than 18 years. Over time, as requests increased for riding lessons geared towards individuals with special needs, the idea for CPR was born.
Our Founder, Pam Hodge

Pam grew up in California where she currently resides with her husband, 5 children and 2 grandchildren. Her entire family is very supportive of her love for horses. Pam's youngest daughter competes on a national level in the equestrian world. Pam is an active member of the Morgan Horse Youth Club that helps introduce people to the Morgan Horse breed. She received her masters in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and her Bachelor of Science. During the late 90's Pam worked for the San Diego Court System. Pam occasionally councils youth through a ministry program at her church. Her goal is to make CPR Ranch a place where all individuals with special needs can enjoy and learn from horses.
